This weekend I had the pleasure of participating in the Back to School Health Fair hosted by State Representative Susan Valdés, thanks to the kind invitation from the Tampa Bay Latin Chamber.

I offered free blood pressure checks, shared information about my practice and weight loss services, and answered questions to help our Hispanic community better navigate the healthcare system. 💬🩺

We ended the day with music, dancing, and lots of smiles—because health isn’t just about checkups, it’s about joy and connection.

A heartfelt gracias to Representative Susan Valdés for her leadership, and to the Tampa Bay Latin Chamber for bringing us together to support families as they get ready for a great school year.

Blessed to attend the White Mass celebrated by Bishop Gregory Parks this year, praying for blessings and guidance, and honoring the healing hands of healthcare professionals. Unfortunately, we couldn't gather last year due to the hurricanes, Helene and Milton, but we typically hold this beautiful tradition in October. God willing, we will continue this cherished celebration later this year. ❤️🙏🩺
