Registration for Red Carpet guests and volunteers will close this Thursday at 5 PM so we have time to prepare sign-in sheets. We can’t wait to see everyone for an unforgettable evening of dancing and celebration in loving memory of our dear friend, Kendra on Friday, May 9th. Let’s make it a night to remember!

For those who may not know, Red Carpet 2025 is being held in loving memory of our dear friend, Kendra Holden.

As we prepare to honor her legacy and celebrate with our friends, we’re asking for donations of Sam’s Club or Walmart gift cards (any amount helps!) to support food purchases for the event.

So far, we’ve received $0 in gift cards. If you’re able to contribute, please consider sending a digital gift card in any amount to communityconnectionstampa@gmail.com or reach out to Melissa Ewen at the same address for more information.

Get ready for a night to shine! We’re rolling out the red carpet for individuals with special needs, ages 16 and older, for an unforgettable evening of music, dancing, fun, and friendship.

📍 St. James Tampa | 16202 Bruce B. Downs Blvd.
🕔 Event starts at 6PM

👥 All guests must register, including parents, caregivers, and companions—so we can plan the perfect experience for everyone attending!

Join Community Connections, Best Buddies, and St James Tampa on Friday, May 9th in the St. James Sanctuary for a night of joy and celebration for individuals with special needs!

We need volunteers for two shifts:
🕙 10AM–1PM (setup)
🌙 5PM–10PM (event support)

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our dear friend, Kendra. Her kind spirit, warm smile, and special light touched so many lives, and she will be deeply missed. The world feels a little dimmer without her presence.
