Okay so what happens when you finally get a break and it still doesn’t feel like enough?

You cancel plans, you try to slow down and you tell yourself to rest.

But yet somehow… your brain’s still going 100 miles an hour.

Rest doesn’t always feel good at first, especially if you’ve spent years in go mode.

So yeah… if rest feels uncomfortable, it makes a lot of sense. You’re just tired in ways that sleep alone can’t fix.

Just in case no one told you…

You don’t need to hit a breaking point to give yourself permission to slow down.

You don’t need to prove how tired you are before you rest.

You don’t need to justify joy, softness, stillness, or simply doing nothing.

Your worth isn’t measured by how much you get done this weekend.

So if your body is asking for rest, honor it. If your mind is begging for stillness, give it a moment to breathe. 🧘🏻‍♀️

And if all you did was survive the week and make it to the weekend, that’s enough too.

Be gentle with yourself. You’re doing better than you think. 🤍

Just because they’re high-achieving doesn’t mean they’re coping.

Just because they’re functioning doesn’t mean they’re not breaking inside.

This is for the ones who show up, get it done, and hold it all together, while quietly falling apart behind the scenes.

You shouldn’t have to wait until everything crashes to deserve rest, support, or softness.

If no one’s told you lately: You’re allowed to let go. You’re allowed to be human. 🤍
