National Mobility Equipment Dealers Association (NMEDA) Non-profit assembly of auto mobility dealers, manufacturers, industry partners and rehab specialists.

The National Mobility Equipment Dealers Association (NMEDA) is the voice of the auto mobility industry. Founded in 1989, we are a non-profit trade association representing more than 500 members across the United States and Canada, including dealers, manufacturers, and mobility professionals dedicated to making safe, reliable transportation accessible for all. As the certifying body for the nationally recognized Quality Assurance Program (QAP) accreditation, NMEDA sets the standard for safety, compliance, and quality in vehicle modifications. Every member adheres to strict federal and Canadian safety standards, along with NMEDA’s own Guidelines, ensuring the highest level of protection and reliability for consumers. Through education, advocacy, and collaboration, we support our members, connect industry partners, and work to empower independence for individuals with disabilities. Our mission is simple: to advance excellence in auto mobility so everyone has access to the freedom of safe, reliable transportation.

The National Mobility Equipment Dealers Association (NMEDA) Conference in Orlando, FL this past week was an absolute blast. The event was run to the highest standards, with an incredible lineup of dealers and vendors who are truly passionate about what they do. It was a genuine privilege to be a part of it, and we left feeling energized, inspired, and excited about what’s ahead for our industry.
