Romans 2 💞

Romans 1 📖 (next 3 weeks)

Switching it up for a little bit.

Instead of one memory verse each week, I’m going to read a chapter out of Romans every day(ish) over the next 3 weeks. This book is just so packed — I couldn’t pick just one verse, so I felt called to slow down and read the whole thing instead.

Before I started this challenge, one of the deacons at our church said something that stuck with me: “We may be the only Bible some people ever read” — through our words, our actions, and how we live.

I took that literally and thought… well, I may not be fit to teach, but I can definitely read. And that’s really how this whole weekly memory challenge started — as a simple way to share God’s Word.

I’ve loved hiding Scripture in my heart each week, but I’m especially excited for these next few weeks as we sit in all of God’s Word, not just what I’m able to memorize.

I’m reading from the ESV translation, and I’ll do my best to get the captions synced up. But if you don’t have a Bible, the Bible app is a great tool — or send me a private message and I’ll make sure you get one 🤍

Week 20 - Psalm 32
Apparently the part of my brain responsible for memorization took a personal day today 🙂 I (thought) I had Psalm 32 down all week and then suddenly forgot how words work. So anyway, here’s me reading it instead. 💞

Week 17: 1 Samuel 16:7
Week 18: Acts 17: 29-31
Week 19: Psalm 96: 4-6

Got a little behind there but as my Pastor says if you forgot to take your medicine one day you wouldn’t say that medicine is no good now and just stop taking it all together, you’d jump right back in. So here we go!

Enjoy watching Kevin and I breakdown 15 chickens into 8 cuts and freezing them in serving size portions. Took about 4 hours from start to finish and have about the next month worth of chicken in our freezer.
