🌟Doctor Spotlight: Dr. Jim Robinson, O.D.🌟

Dr. Jim Robinson, O.D., has been providing compassionate, high-quality eye care to patients in the Tampa Bay area for more than two decades. He earned his Bachelor of Science from Wichita State University and his Doctor of Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University, where he also served as both Student Government Association President and Class President. His clinical training included rotations in ocular disease at Fox Medical Center in Miami and primary eye care at the Key West Naval Hospital.

Dr. Robinson has been licensed in Florida since 2000 and holds NBEO certification and Therapeutic Medical Optometry (TMOD) certification. An officer in the U.S. Army Reserve, Lt. Col. Robinson is also an active member of the American Optometric Association, Florida Optometric Association, Hillsborough County Optometric Society, and several military professional organizations.

We are especially proud to welcome Lt. Col. Robinson back to the Tampa Eye Clinic following his recent service with the U.S. Army Reserve. Patients can now schedule appointments with him at our North Dale Mabry Lutz office.

🌟 Doctor Spotlight: Dr. Selina Lin 🌟

Dr. Selina Lin earned her medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and completed her ophthalmology residency at Saint Vincent’s Medical Center in New York City, where she served as Chief Resident in her final year.

Board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, Dr. Lin is a highly skilled retina specialist with more than a decade of experience caring for patients throughout the greater Tampa Bay area. Known for her expertise and compassionate approach, she is dedicated to delivering exceptional vision care and improving the lives of those she serves.

We are proud to spotlight Dr. Lin’s commitment to excellence in ophthalmology!

🌟 Doctor Spotlight: Dr. Hirah Khan, M.D. 🌟

We are proud to welcome Dr. Hirah S. Khan, the newest member of the Tampa Eye Clinic physician team and a glaucoma specialist who provides personalized, evidence-based care. She offers comprehensive medical and surgical glaucoma management, including minimally invasive and advanced procedures. A magna cm laude graduate of the University of South Florida, Dr. Khan completed her glaucoma fellowship at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai and her ophthalmology residency at SUNY Downstate, where she served as Administrative Chief Resident, and is proud to return home to care for the Tampa Bay community with a strong emphasis on clear communication and long-term vision health.

January is Glaucoma Awareness Month, an important time to highlight how early diagnosis and ongoing monitoring can help protect your vision.

Glaucoma is often called the "silent thief of sight” - and for good reason. Many patients experience little to no symptoms until permanent vision loss has already occurred. Because damage cannot be reversed, early detection is essential.
