Y’all didn’t think I had enough businesses with Celsus and Miss Stephanie’s Herbal Remedies, did you?? PhysWiz is a project that has been percolating since the good ole Covid days of 2020… (don’t leave me sitting on my hands too long, I’ll come up with some things I’ll tell ya! 😅) Leisa Parks of Parks Therapeutic and Sports Massage llc in Bloomington, IN and I have partnered up to level up the sports massage world and help create an army of outstanding, effective therapists countrywide who will help elevate the profession through efficient therapeutic reasoning.

Massage therapists of all levels and interests are welcome! So if you find yourself feeling a little lost or overwhelmed by the challenge of working on serious athletes, throwing the entirety of your repertoire at their bodies without any real direction or purpose and hoping it sticks, PhysWiz LLC is the CEU provider for you and our first course offering is a MUST! It is quite literally, a GAME CHANGER (pun totally intended), and will fulfill 7.5 CEUs towards General Education credits (we are accredited by NCBTMB) for your license renewal this August 2025.

Greetings students! Meet Stephanie Newton, aka Director of Operations and Business Development for PhysWiz, as well as educator for all PhysWiz courses alongside Leisa Parks!

Stephanie has been an LMT for 16 years, with knowledge and skills spanning various modalities with clients in every age group. She currently owns and operates Celsus Integrative Therapy in Tampa, which she opened back in 2019.

She has been fortunate enough over the years to have worked with various athletes of different levels, from young amateurs to high-ranking pros, and watched multiple athletic careers form over time. One of her favorite parts of working with young athletes is watching them grow from high school to pro level, reaching their dreams and thriving!

Based in Tampa, she will be teaching in-person classes in the coming year on location at Celsus, and will be joining Leisa virtually during the in-person classes in Bloomington, IN. We highly recommend meeting them and fellow classmates on location because it’s a whole vibe, but anyone can join from anywhere virtually as well!

Hello all!

It’s been a journey, and it is still not done! The office was unscathed, save an AC issue we caught yesterday and was being fixed today.

We JUST got power back today at home so things will finally feel a little more normal. However, our house is still water locked by flooding at the level of our driveway, so we still cannot drive anywhere. I have faith that the county will be able to finally pump it out by the time Monday rolls around though. People have been working hard to get everything back to normal for us.

In light of these developments, I will not be scheduling anyone the rest of this week but I have started scheduling people as of Monday October 21st. Text me, call me or schedule online 😊

Thank you to all who have kept us in their thoughts, have attempted or been successful in reaching out this week to check on me (cell service was a nightmare if it even worked at all). If you texted and I didn’t answer, chances are I simply did not receive your text. I promise I wouldn’t ignore any of you!! I look forward to hearing about everyone’s experiences and helping all in whatever way I can to move forward from Helene and Milton! We are a fantastic community ❤️ I hope to see you all soon!

My family and I are safe, and sustained no damage to our house. We have a lot of vegetative cleanup to get done. Biggest issue we have is we are unable to drive out of our property because a retention pond overflowed and is too high up our driveway to do so. I’m hoping that the waters will recede just enough come next week for me to get to the office (which is fine as far as I can tell), but expect some rescheduling if I’m still trapped. We don’t have power but still have water and we are all fine, so no worries. We can still access the main road by foot so we can get supplies if we need them should we be trapped for a while.

Of all the weeks to catch Covid, this was definitely the least preferable. I cannot even describe how saddened I am to not be able to attend the health fair this weekend. To be looking forward to it, working hard towards it in all the ways, since March, and to have to back out 2 days before… y’all… words fail ☹️ I won’t even mention the obvious regarding my work schedule for the next couple of weeks…
As a result I am a couple of days late sharing this really awesome segment we did. I thought it was high time we showcase Ms Veronica and her amazing Pilates contraptions! And I have to say, the video came out FANTASTIC! Once again the Bloom team came through to make us look fabulous and like we know a thing or two 😜 Enjoy!
