Dr. Castor then studied medicine at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia. He completed his internship and residency in General Surgery at Emory University Affiliated Hospitals in Atlanta, GA. Dr. Castor continued his training in Plastic Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, OH. In addition, he completed a prestigious cosmetic surgery fellowship with world-renowned plastic surgeons Drs. Upon completion of his training, Dr. Castor practiced plastic and reconstructive surgery for nine years with the Watson Clinic located in Lakeland, FL. He has practiced in the Tampa Bay area for several years now. Dr. Castor is board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is a member of the American Society for Plastic Surgeons, the American College of Surgeons, and the Tampa Bay Reconstructive and Plastic Surgeons Society. Dr. Castor is a repeat recipient of the Patients’ Choice Award and has been named as one of America's Top Surgeons in the 2010 Guide to America’s Top Surgeons by the Consumers Research Council. Dr. Castor is married with three children and lives in Lakeland. His solid background of training and education, combined with his caring attitude and genuine interest in his patients, make him an excellent, respected plastic surgeon. He brings a wealth of superb training and new, state of the art techniques to the Tampa Bay area.
