Big smiles in our St. Pete office! 💚
Victoria was fit with her new custom combo KAFO braces, giving her the freedom to choose the support she needs for each part of her day. Full KAFOs when she wants extra stability, or AFOs when she needs more flexibility and movement.

Dani and Danielle made sure everything fit comfortably and Victoria’s smile says the rest. 🤩 Empowering kids to move with confidence is one of our favorite parts of what we do. ✨

This weekend, WCBL St. Pete practitioner Danielle partnered with the amazing Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital team at the SMA Walk & Roll at Eckerd College. 💜

The event raises funds and awareness for spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) - a progressive disease that affects motor nerve cells in the spinal cord.

We’re proud to stand beside this incredible community and help raise awareness for those living with SMA. 💪

Our patient Jay is a huge Star Wars fan. He brought his WCBL Maitland practitioner, Mike, three of his favorite pictures and asked him to surprise him with the final design for his prosthetic leg socket. Mike chose Darth Vader with the Stormtroopers - a perfect match for Jay’s energy and personality. 🌌

When Jay took his first steps in his new prosthesis, he smiled and said, “Thank you for making me feel whole again.”

Michael was a plumber before his amputation and is determined to get back to doing the work he loves! After losing his leg, he was connected with Vocational Rehabilitation, who helped make his new prosthesis possible.

With the support of his family, guidance from his surgeon, Dr. Perez and the care of our practitioner Rick, Michael received his first prosthetic leg this week, and his smile says it all! He walked like a champion on his first try & we just know this is only the start for him!

His determination and positivity remind us what it’s all about: restoring mobility, rebuilding confidence, and getting back to doing what you love. 💚
