Last night, St. Joseph’s Women’s Hospital joined other hospitals and families around the world for an evening of reflection and remembrance as part of the Global Wave of Light. During this annual commemoration, people across the globe light a candle for one hour to honor and remember babies lost during pregnancy or infancy. Each candle lit represents a precious life gone too soon — and together, they filled the night with love, hope and comfort.

Whether they are currently pregnant, a first-time mom or adding another child to their family, we have free resources and support available for women struggling with the expectations of motherhood or undergoing emotional changes during or after pregnancy.

BayCare has free resources for women who are facing challenges with adjusting to new roles during and after pregnancy.

📚💙The magic of reading came alive during our NICU read-a-thon! 📚💙

During the 10-day event, more than 1,700 books were read to infants throughout BayCare’s six Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU). The event was part of a friendly competition with 200+ NICUs across the country, and encourages infant bonding through reading at the bedside.
