💙 Florida’s Poison Control Centers: Wear Blue Day, April 10
April is Child Abuse Prevention Month and on April 10, Florida’s Poison Control Centers proudly join communities across the country in Wear Blue Day. Wearing blue is a simple but powerful way to show support for safe, stable, and nurturing environments for every child.
The pinwheel has become a national symbol of hope and healthy childhoods, reminding us that prevention begins with strong families, early support, and connected communities. By participating in Wear Blue Day, we help raise awareness and stand with children and families across Florida.
As we work every day to prevent poisonings and protect families, we also support the broader mission of keeping children safe.
📞If you ever need help with a poisoning emergency or have questions about preventing exposures, Help is available 24/7 at 1-800-222-1222 for free, confidential, expert guidance.
Together, we can help Florida’s children grow up safe, strong, and supported.
