Meet Halcian Graham-Levy — a powerhouse in the PA profession with over 25 years of clinical excellence! 👩🏽‍⚕️💪🏽
A proud 1997 graduate of the CUNY School of Medicine PA Program, Halcian began her career in the pediatric ICU at Jacobi Medical Center, bringing compassionate, high-level care to NYC’s most vulnerable patients. Today, she continues her mission on the front lines of emergency medicine in Brevard County, FL.
🧠 But Halcian doesn’t stop at clinical practice — she’s a lifelong learner and leader:
✨ Master of Science in Organizational Leadership
✨ Currently pursuing a Doctor of Medical Science (DMSc) in Medical Education + an Executive Leadership Certificate at the University of Lynchburg
Her passion for advancing the PA profession is unmatched. As a dedicated mentor with PRepA and a guiding force for current PA students, Halcian is committed to modernizing PA practice and improving access to care for all.

What an incredible conference – and we’re just getting started!

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, participated, and brought the energy to make this year’s event a success. 🙌 While we packed a lot into this year’s experience, we’re even more excited about what’s to come next year.

This year, we dipped our toes into using the WHOVA app – and we loved it! From schedules to session info, we explored just a small portion of its potential. If you had a chance to check it out, we hope you found it helpful too.

Looking ahead, we’re planning to unlock even more of WHOVA’s capabilities in 2026 – think more engagement, richer networking, live interactions, community boards, and real-time updates that keep the momentum going well beyond the event itself.

🔥 Did you know? The only financial support the Florida Academy of PAs (FAPA) receives is from membership dues. That’s it. No outside funding. No corporate sponsors. Just us, the PA community. 💪
And yet — less than 10% of Florida PAs are members.
But FAPA still fights for 100% of us. Every PA. Ever practicing PA. Every specialty. Every setting. 👊
Here’s the truth: Specialty organizations are usually 501(c)(3)s — amazing for education, but they can’t legally advocate. They don’t have a political arm. They can’t work to get barriers removed, issues addressed or ensure a job in Florida.
Only FAPA can. Only FAPA does.
✅ Remember the outdated supervision data form? Gone.
✅ Want to be able to prescribe medications? Thank FAPA.
✅ A few years ago, PAs in Florida couldn’t even order controlled substances in the hospital — not even for post-op patients. That changed because FAPA fought to change it.
📢 Change doesn’t happen overnight. Every win we see today started with strategy, meetings, and funding 5–6 years ago. That’s why annual membership matters.
If you want to provide the best care your communities, your patients, and your practice —
