Florida patients are waiting too long for care — and it’s not because providers aren’t working hard. It’s because outdated policies are creating unnecessary barriers.
Bills like SB 374, HB 683, HB 693, and SB 668 are focused on modernizing PA practice in Florida by reducing administrative red tape, improving workforce flexibility, and expanding access to care — especially in rural and underserved communities.
Physician Assistants are highly trained, nationally certified medical providers who are already delivering high-quality care across primary and specialty settings. Updating policy to reflect modern healthcare helps care teams work more efficiently without compromising patient safety.
This is about improving access, strengthening our healthcare system, and ensuring Floridians get the care they need—when they need it.
