Dear OWLS,
It is with mixed emotions that I write to inform you that I will be leaving my position with Northdale Recreation Center. Hillsborough County Parks and Recreation Department is a fantastic organization to work with and their park programs are top notch. The department’s commitment to excellence shines through with their national accreditation through the National Parks and Recreation Association. The programs offered through the Rec Department are as diverse as the communities they serve.
It was been an honor to partner with the NCA and Northdale OWLS. Everyday has been an adventure that I will treasure for years to come. I have loved getting to know each of you through the field trips, pot lucks, and special events.
With my husband and two young children, we will be moving back to my cold hometown of Springfield, Illinois. We will miss Tampa greatly, but are looking forward to our children growing up near their cousins.
The team at Northdale Recreation is very driven, motivated, and caring. I look forward to hearing about how the park continues to grow and thrive. It will be exciting to stay updated on all of the upcoming OWLS programs as the covid cases start to decline.
