We are hearing the same message from families across Tampa Bay: health insurance feels harder right now.

Parents are calling with urgent questions about keeping children covered, where to go for care, and what to do when paperwork, deadlines, or costs do not make sense. For families juggling work, school, and rising expenses, one confusing notice can mean delayed appointments, missed medications, or care that does not happen.

That is why the Family Healthcare Foundation is here. We sit with families, help them understand options, complete applications, follow up on documents, and keep care on track.

Applications for Hillsborough County’s free health care plan have increased by about 15%, approximately 600 new applicants, since federal Obamacare subsidies expired, according to officials. 🔗 ⬇️
