Every midwife has a different philosophy. You want someone who aligns with your vision for a supported birth wherever you choose.

✨ 2. How do you support moms during postpartum recovery?
Birth is only the beginning. Ask about postpartum visits, breastfeeding support, and how they help you transition into those first few weeks with your baby.

✨ 3. What’s your backup plan if things don’t go as expected?
Peace of mind matters. Make sure you understand your midwife’s protocol for hospital transfers or emergencies so you can feel confident and safe.

There are so many things we wish more parents knew about birth...

Birth doesn’t have to feel clinical, restrictive, or rushed - it can be calm, powerful, and on your terms. Here are a few truths we want everyone to hear:

✨ You can eat during labor. Your body is doing hard work and needs fuel.
✨ You should be able to move freely. Walking, swaying, and changing positions help labor progress naturally.
✨ Home birth is safe for low-risk pregnancies when attended by skilled midwives.
✨ You deserve support. You should feel seen, heard, and cared for - not managed or silenced.

As midwives, we believe in informed choices, gentle guidance, and creating a space where birth feels safe and sacred not something to fear.
