Congratulations to Dr. Bernasek for being honored as a Tampa Bay Top Doc for the 7th year in a row! Richard B., a patient of Dr. Bernasek shares his story and thanks:
"Dr. Thomas Bernasek, and his superbly trained staff, gave me my life back. In 2018, at age 76, I went from increasingly painful and crippling knee and hip pain, always requiring a walker, to pain-free, unrestricted walking and driving, all within 2-3 weeks, and remain so today. The only word to describe my results is miraculous.
In addition, Dr. Bernasek’s surgical skills are uniquely matched by his extraordinary bedside manner. He is humble, unassuming, appropriately empathetic and a careful, patient listener. Within minutes of meeting him you regain your confidence and optimism and realize you are in the fine hands of a gifted individual who is determined to exceed your expectations.
Since my surgery, my significant other and I have been traveling extensively, both domestically and internationally, and I am able, at age 82, to perform all my daily tasks pain free.
The day I first met Dr. Bernasek he was being shadowed by three experienced foreign orthopedists for training. I now know why they travelled thousands of miles to improve and hone their skills."
