As 2025 comes to a close, we reflect with pride on a year filled with meaningful accomplishments. Your HCMA traveled to Tallahassee twice to educate our legislators and advocate for physician input in healthcare policy. We honored outstanding Women in Medicine, hosted a social for our resident members, and held four successful membership events, including a celebration of HCMA’s 130th anniversary.

As we look ahead to a busy and promising 2026, we extend our sincere gratitude to HCMA leadership for their dedication and service; to our members for their continued confidence in our role as one of Florida’s strongest medical associations; and to our administrative staff, whose combined nearly 80 years of experience in organized medicine keeps the Association informed, focused, and moving forward.

HCMA MEMBERS - A CALL FOR CANDIDATES! Nominations for specific seats will be decided by the Nominating Committee members in February. However, if you have a preference to serve in a particular capacity, please specify it when submitting your request. Email ELubin@hcma.net to request the Delegates' manual and/or to submit your name for nomination no later than January 30th.

The HCMA is advocating for you and your patients!! The HCMA coordinated a group visit to Tallahassee to meet with legislators today. Before their day began, Drs. Nancy Landfish, Kathryn Kepes, Danielle Terrell, Neil Manimala, Nam Tran, Luv Hajirawala, Laurie Woodard, and Evelyn Roisman met with FMA CEO Chris Clark and FMA Attorney Jeff Scott. 💪❤🩺
