The panel just keeps getting better✨ Kyle was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes while performing in Disney’s The Lion King — a life-changing moment that revealed how little support existed for people of color with T1D. In 2020, he turned that challenge into purpose and launched to expand access, education, and advocacy for our community.

We’re honored to have him share perspectives from his work inside New York City schools to help students access diabetes technology, improve daily management, and strengthen advocacy with parents, school nurses, and faculty.
