Join Moffitt Cancer Center and the Church of God Kissimmee from 10-2 this weekend for a special “Ladies Day in the Osceola Community” program.
COE staff will present workshops on:
• Importance of screening and early detection
• Types of screenings available
• Screening and community patient navigation process 101
• Free 3DM mammograms for eligible individuals.
With a guest patient advocate speaker to share her experience.
The program will be presented in Spanish, with staff members who can assist with translation services on site.
Don’t miss this opportunity to learn, connect, and empower your health.

When Sherry Haines was in her 40s, lung cancer was a diagnosis she never imagined she would face.
She wasn't at high risk and had never smoked.
A recent study published in JAMA highlights a rise in lung cancer among nonsmoking individuals, accounting for 15% to 20% of all lung cancer cases.
Although the underlying reason for the uptick remains unknown, Moffitt's Lary Robinson, MD, says causes could include genetic mutations and exposure to air pollution, secondhand smoke and radon.

Offered virtually and open to breast cancer survivors, co-survivors, their families and caregivers, these yoga sessions are designed for all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels to encourage a sense of unity and connection while promoting holistic wellness.
These sessions emphasize mindfulness and relaxation through gentle movement, breathwork, and meditation while focusing on creating a supportive space where participants can find balance, reduce stress, and strengthen both body and spirit.
