Whats new in the shop?

Our holiday hours this week are open Tuesday and Wednesday regular hours and closed the rest of the week. We’re having Lyani cook up a new scent for our body butter lineup… stay tuned for the reveal!

🌎 Plants for the People Conference
Happening October 7–9, 2025, this free virtual gathering — hosted by Rosemary Gladstar and the Herbs & Earth Awareness team — brings together a lineup of beloved herbal teachers. Rosemary herself will open and close the weekend, grounding us in the reminder that herbalism was, and always will be, for the people.

🇵🇷 Puerto Rican Herbalism Gathering
Then, from October 10–12, 2025, the first-ever Puerto Rican Herbalism Gathering — hosted by The Honeycomb Network and Yucayeke Farms — will take place online. This three-day celebration honors Boricua traditions, ancestral healing, food sovereignty, and collective stewardship.
It’s more than a conference — it’s a call to remembrance for all of us who carry the land and its medicine in our bones, even across oceans.

🕯️ BrujaHa: A Community Herbal Celebration at Modern Herbal Apothecary
And right here in Tampa, we’ll close out the month with our annual BrujaHa — a free community gathering at Modern Herbal Apothecary featuring herbal workshops, vendors, drumming, and DIY herbal crafts. Every year it feels like coming home — laughter, magic, medicine, and rhythm all braided together under one moon.

✨ However you gather — online or in person — may this week remind you that our roots are collective, our medicine communal, and our stories still growing.
