Ironically, during the month of , many of my friends know the amazing guy we lost Monday to ***de.

While I haven't spoken to him in a while, he was a great guy and mentor to me for a time. I looked up to him, and I don't think I ever took the time to tell him.

This video from Rahul N. Mehra called Sudden Loss helped me today. I am pretty sure I know others who can use the information. Thank you Rahul for your Emotional Vaccines program.

Point #2 really stood out for me personally. I have prayed every day for his family because I feel helpless, and his loss bothers me immensely. I am not entirely sure why, because we have fallen out of touch in the last few years. I think it's because this is way too common and impacts so many people I love. We had great mutual friends, much closer than me. He has a family, and I see how this action impacts kids and spouses long term. Silver linings do surface but it takes a while.

We all talk about it as a society, especially in May. One small action I can take to reduce my helplessness is to share more of Dr. Mehra's work.

What a difference this organization makes in the lives of our community

With our our new partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of the Suncoast the youth and employee will be getting a simple action oriented video training series called www.emotionalvaccines.com No pain. All Gain.

This content is designed to create a culture of self care as well as simple parenting tools to help families thrive.

We believe happy employees make amazing mentors. We are also confident more kids in the clubs will be one step closer to improved mental health. With the leadership of Freddy Williams, this team will make a major impact on the Youth of Pinillas County.

Thank you Rahul N. Mehra for helping our youth.

Emotional Vaccines use proactive, low intensity, professional guidance to improve self-care which leads to a healthier mental state for individuals and their families.

met with high school football coaches from Gaffney and Blacksburg High School at the wonderful Institute of Innovation to discuss Gamechangers program and how it benefits student athletes. Thank you to all the special guests for attending and coaches. Also big thanks to Bessie Westmoreland and Terrence Scrivens for being gracious hosts.
