ATTENTION COFFEE CONNOISEURS!
Here's The Latest Research

Fight Viruses! Boost Immunity!
Who knew that your morning brew could
actually boost immunity?
Okay, coffee is not necessarily a food but
the polyphenols, fats and flavonoids in
coffee beans (particularly those raised between
2,000 and 4,000 feet) make this delicious drink
one of the Body’s Best Immune Boosters.
In a 2011, study reported in the
International Journal of
Molecular Medicine (Int J Mol
Med. 2011 Oct;28(4):595-8),
Caffeic Acid was found to inhibit
the multiplication of the HSV-1
(Herpes Simplex Virus) in vitro.
What is interesting about this
study is the form of coffee used
by the researchers. Commercial
Instant Coffee and Hot Water
Extracts of Coffee Grinds
seemed to contain sufficient
solutions of Caffeic Acid to
inoculate the Herpes Simplex
Virus and prevent it from multiplying
in host cells.
So, go ahead and enjoy that extra
Cup Of Joe. You’ll be glad you did.
