I was the girl that never thought much of having smelly gas or constipation. It wasn't until a coach called me out on it many years ago that even considered it abnormal.

But then the fatigue set in 🥱,
Blood sugar issues 😵‍💫
Brain fog I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy 😶‍🌫️,
'Seasonal' allergies I never had before 🤧,
Annoying joint pain in my knees (at 27 years old) 😑,
Periods that were >30 days long 🩸,
dry itchy skin that no amount of lotion could fix 🧴

Then I knew something wasn't right.

No doctor could tell me why I was so tired,
Food sensativity tests only made me more stressed,
& for a minute there I felt like it was all in my head.

So I took matters into my own hands, got the 👏🏻 RIGHT TESTING 👏🏻 , & learned it was literally ALL connected to my gut all along!!

➡️ Candida overgrowth (a yeast that when overgrown causes tons of inflammation, sugar cravings, liver stress, energy crashes, brain fog, ADHDx10000, anxiety & more)

➡️ Low good bacteria + SIBO (hello rotten egg farts, histamine issues, food intolerances, & fatigue because I wasn't absorbing nutrients at allll)

➡️ Leaky gut (causing tons of inflammation and stress in my body + brain...Cue joint pain, skin issues, brain fog, nutrient deficiencies, & more)

These test results gave me SO MUCH clarity + validation. They showed me it was never in my head.

If you take one thing from this post let it be that IT IS ALL CONNECTED 👏🏻 the gut is legit the center of everything.

➡️It's where nutrients are absorbed, hormones are detoxed, neurotransmitter are made, & so much more

So yes even if you do not relate to having a gut issue you should focus on improving your gut health!

When someone tells me they’re sleeping 8–10+ hours and still exhausted, that’s ALWAYS a red flag 🚩

Taylor wasn’t lazy.
She wasn’t unmotivated.
And she wasn’t overtraining.

Her body was overwhelmed, under-supported, and stuck in survival mode, and no amount of pushing was going to fix that.

Once we stopped forcing her body to keep up and started supporting it properly, everything changed:
✅ Energy + motivation
✅GI regularity + food freedom
✅ Recovery + muscle growth
✅Confidence
✅Trust in her body again

👏🏻The ABILITY to focus on LIVING MORE, seeing friends, traveling, & expanding in the New Year not saying no to things because she’s exhausted 👏🏻

The clients who create lasting results aren’t “more disciplined” or “more motivated.”
✨They’re willing to work with me learn their bodies, stay curious, and keep showing up, even when life gets crazy.

And here’s the part I want you to hear:
This isn’t a personality trait.

It’s a skill you can build by learning how to support yourself through every phase of life.

✨Confidence, stable energy, better digestion, a calmer relationship with food 👏🏻 that comes from support, self-trust, and consistency over time.
Not perfection.

If you’ve been watching from the outside thinking, “I wish I could do that,”
you can. And you don’t have to do it alone.

👉🏻and walk out with “everything looks normal”, a prescription, or zero clarity on what to do next

Not because your doctor is bad...
but because the system is rushed, outdated, and not built to look for root causes.

If your anxiety, emotions, or thought loops have felt louder lately… you’re definitely not alone.

End of year energy hits women HARD mentally, emotionally, and hormonally.

Here’s the 3️⃣-step reset I use (and teach my clients) when I feel consumed by my thoughts & need a way out👇🏻

1️⃣ Name it.
Grab the emotion wheel and identify what you’re actually feeling, no judgment.

2️⃣ Allow it then Accept it.
Set a timer and give yourself “crash out time.” Maybe it's 5 minutes maybe it's an hour.

Cry, journal, think of the worst, think of the best, let it move through you instead of consuming you all day.

When the timer goes off, gently tell your brain:
“Okay. That’s enough for today. We’re done here.”

Usually this release alone is very helpful. 

Then choose an affirmation or two as you move into step 3. Here’s are my go-to’s lately:
✨ “I can feel this and still move forward.”
✨ “My body or mind is loud right now, but I am safe.”
✨ “This moment is hard, but it’s not permanent.”
✨ “I can be overwhelmed and still take care of me.”
✨ “I can take one small action, even if I don’t feel ready.”
✨ “I’m grateful for… (list 3 things)”

3️⃣ Shift your state.
Move your body or your environment: a walk, stretching on the floor, hand on your heart + deep breaths, changing rooms, a shower, a phone call.

A physical shift helps your mind catch up. Repeat your affirmations here.

Save this for the days when everything feels a little heavier than it should.

I don’t think it hit me until recently…
but getting married in just a few short months shifted something big in me 💍👇🏻

Not in a “I need to lose weight for my wedding” way ✖️
(which I'm so thankful for, because the old me would be dieting away right now)

It was more like this deeper voice saying:
👉🏻“You’re about to enter a whole new version of your life.
Who do you want to be when you walk into it?”

Getting married made me think about the version of me I want to bring into this next chapter:
✔️A healthy + grounded wife
✔️ A strong + fit woman (physically and mentally)
✔️A fertile woman with healthy hormones who CAN conceive
✔️A future mom who can carry her kids up the stairs and run around with them.
✔️A person who feels confident, capable, steady, and alive in her own body.
✔️Someone who trains because she loves her life, not because she’s chasing a smaller body.
✔️A leader of my own self & others

Maybe you feel the same way but as I've gotten older I've realized that my health goals aren't about having less body fat or hitting my macros anymore.

It’s about quality of life. Capacity. Longevity. Energy. Confidence. Joy.

It's about feeling strong 💪🏻
Trusting my intuitions ✨
& walking into my marriage feeling the most “me” I’ve felt in years 😌

So no, I’m not dieting into my wedding.

I’m rebuilding into it.
Slowly. Intentionally. The right way.

2026 is about being the healthiest, happiest, most aligned version of myself, for me, for Ed, and for the life we’re building 💫

This client came to us wanting to lose weight…
But more than that, she wanted her energy, mood, confidence, and gut back.
She had every symptom in the book —
➡️ bloating + reflux
➡️ Brain fog
➡️ Anxiety
➡️ Blood sugar crashes
➡️ Trouble focusing
➡️ Weight that wouldn’t budge

We dialed in the foundations: food quality, digestion, blood sugar, sleep, and stress… and she felt so much better within weeks.

But the scale?
Still. Not. Moving.

So we ran labs.
🧪 Fasting insulin: 18.3
🧪 Thyroid: low
🧪 Cortisol: through the roof
Her body wasn’t broken — it was protecting her.

And a GLP-1 made sense only after we supported her metabolism at the root.

This in’t a shortcut.
It was a next step, layered in after the strategy, support, and internal healing had already started.

As a high-achieving woman with a full plate and a nervous system that doesn’t always love that I’ve had to learn (and am very much still learning) how to take care of myself without falling into the "all or nothing" trap.

I used to wear my ability to “push through” like a badge of honor.

But here’s what I’ve learned ⬇️
You can’t grind your way to regulation.
You can’t ignore your body into balance.

And if you’re anything like me, you’ve probably convinced yourself:
“I’m not that stressed. I’m fine.”

Meanwhile your body is waving red flags like:
✖️Weird appetite patterns: intense cravings or no hunger at all
✖️Broken sleep that’s not restorative
✖️Constipation or anxious diarrhea (yeah, we’re going there)
✖️Lingering soreness or falling off of the gym all together
✖️Acne, hair shedding, irregular periods, tummy aches 

You don’t need to collapse your life to find calm.
You don’t need a perfect routine.

But you do need to know what actually soothes your system, so you can stop coping and start supporting.✨

This is what I’ve been leaning on during the hard weeks, not as a checklist, but as a gentle reminder that I’m allowed to slow down to recalibrate.
