🌟 Future nurse in action 🌟

A man is alive today due to care from a Galen College of Nursing student. On her way back to school, Lesly Arroyo-PeΓ±a saw a man in the middle of the road. She knew she had to act.

Using skills she had learned in class, she determined the man had overdosed and revived him with Narcan she had been keeping in her car.

Florida Center for Nursing research shows that nursing students who take the NCLEX in the first month after graduating are over 2️⃣ TIMES more likely to pass than those who wait six months.

This year, FCN launched a media campaign to encourage nursing students to take their NCLEX quickly after graduation, offering a free NCLEX preparation checklist and toolkit. There were 85,882 impressions in the month-long campaign, and over 240 future nurses downloaded the NCLEX toolkit.
