New symposium coming next month!

On March 25 at 11am, the Florida Center for Nursing, together with the Nursing Action Coalition of Florida (NACFL), will present "How Extreme Heat Can Affect Health," a virtual symposium addressing this increasing public health threat. flcntr.org/heat-and-health

Objectives:
1. Identify at least three heat-related illnesses that may occur during a disaster or public health emergency.
2. Explain how heat impacts chronic health conditions.

The Florida Center for Nursing is seeking Florida APRNs for a new research study: Perspectives Among APRNs Practicing in the State of Florida. USF IRB: STUDY007754

The purpose of the study is to investigate the experiences among Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRN) who work in the state of Florida. The research includes a 45-minute to 2-hour interview.

The Florida Center for Nursing is seeking new-to-practice RNs with 0-3 years of experience working in a hospital setting in the United States for a new FCN research study: Perspectives Among Newly Practicing Nurses in the State of Florida. 🏥

This study explores the experiences of newly practicing RNs in the state. Participants will attend a virtual meeting lasting no more than two hours.
