Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
1. Examine the rationale for an innovative approach to NCLEX-RN first-time pass rates success.
2. Describe the development and implementation of a Student Success Team (SST) to improve NCLEX pass rates and optimize academic performance.
3. Discuss outcomes and ongoing evaluations of student success initiatives.
4. Explain a competitive gaming approach to strengthen NCLEX readiness and critical thinking in prelicensure nursing students.

In September, the Florida Center for Nursing will begin the data collection process for the FCN Nursing Education Program Survey, gathering information from Florida's nursing programs AY 2024-2025.

Florida nursing programs are REQUIRED to complete this survey by Monday, October 7 to avoid a $1000 fine.

Did you know?

Florida's nursing education programs have shown growth over time.

Florida Center for Nursing data shows that practical nursing (PN) programs in the state have grown from 79 programs in AY 2006-2007 to 193 programs in AY 2023-2024. Florida registered nursing (RN) programs increased from 71 programs to 317 over the same period.
