You come home after a full day of work…
and the job isn’t over.
Someone’s stressed. Someone’s anxious. Someone needs something.
And without even thinking about it you start managing it all.
Not because anyone asked you to.
Because somewhere along the way… it just became yours to carry.
You’ve tried setting boundaries. Read the books. Maybe even tried therapy or parenting support.
And it helped. For a little while.
But it kept coming back.
Because it was never a self-care problem.
It was never a communication problem.
It’s a pattern problem.
And that pattern? We can change it.
If you’re the career mom who is done trying to fix this alone

Here’s what I want you to know after 25 years as a psychotherapist… and from living this myself.

You’re not mediating because you’re a peacekeeper.
You’re mediating because underneath all of it is a fear you’ve probably never said out loud.
“If I stop holding this together… my child is going to grow up and not want to come back home.”

Not because they don’t love you. But because the house felt too heavy. Too tense. And you couldn’t stop it.

So you mediate. Every single time. From empty. From survival. From a place that has nothing left to give.
And here’s the part nobody tells you.
YOU have to do the internal work first.

Because if you’re still in fight or flight yourself? That sentence comes out sideways. Or it doesn’t come out at all.

That’s why we don’t just work on what to say. We work on YOUR regulation first.

Because when you’re regulated? The words come naturally. And more importantly they actually land.

Imagine standing in the next room. Hearing your kid and your husband work it out. Without you.
And realizing you didn’t have to fix a single thing.

THAT is the relief I’m talking about.

Not just for you, but watching them finally build their own relationship. The one you’ve been trying to build for them all along ❤️.

If you’re a career mom who is done mediating from empty and you know something has to change — DM me the word PEACE… Not to keep it for everyone else. But because it’s finally time to have it for yourself.

Just calm down” is terrible advice for career moms.
Because you’ve TRIED the breathing.

You’ve tried counting to ten.
You’ve tried pushing through.
And yet you’re still snapping at your kid over something small.
Still replaying that fight at 2am.
Still sitting at your desk unable to focus after mediating somebody else’s crisis.

Here’s what most career moms don’t realize:
Regulation isn’t just calming down.
It’s your body settling, your mind slowing, and your emotions finally stopping running the whole show.
And the pattern I see most after 25 years?

Career moms are only ever regulating everyone ELSE.
But when you start regulating YOU — you stop snapping and spiraling into guilt, stop replaying conversations at night, and start showing up steadier at home and more present at work.

This isn’t a willpower problem.
It’s a pattern problem.
And it can change.

DM me RECLAIM to start.
