Hi my name is Emily Stein. I am and Active Isolated Stretching Yamuna® Body Rolling, and Foot Fitness Practitioner. People of all ages can benefit.
I am a Stretching and Mobility specialist who helps men and women reduce pain, stress, tension and feel better in their bodies through Active Isolated Stretching (AIS) and Yamuna® Body Rolling. Emily helps individuals improve their flexibility and range of motion. In doing so you will feel better and be able to improve all physical activities, and reduce your chance of injuries. AIS and Body Rolling are effective in reducing back pain, sciatica, carpel tunnel syndrome, shoulder/neck pain, knee pain, flat feet and plantar fasciitis, and general body stress. My training incorporates Active Isolated Stretching (AIS), and Yamuna® (pronounced Yah-Mu-Na) Body Rolling (YBR). AIS is a form of Dynamic Stretching that works with connective tissue and muscle. When we work with connective tissue we are able to increase range of motion. The Yamuna® Method incorporates the principles of yoga and massage, gravity and body weight resulting in tension release, creating a taller lengthened torso and experiencing more space in the body. By learning specific routines with specially-designed balls, YBR® teaches you how to align your bones and massage your muscles and fascia. The ball acts as a hands-on practitioner, dislodging tension, restoring range of motion, increasing flexibility, and improving organ and system function. My practice also incorporates Yamuna® Foot Fitness and Table Treatment. First we stimulate bone with the Yamuna® Balls than we stimulate muscle and connective tissue with AIS (Active Isolated Stretching).
Whether you are an athlete, enjoy working out, are a Yogi or a Yogini, AIS and YBR will enhance all aspects of your movement. Emily also works with individuals living with Multiple Sclerosis, Fibromyalgia and Parkinson’s. AIS and YBR® are proven methods to increase range of motion, release tight muscles and sustain flexibility and mobility.
My objective is to help you enhance ATHLETIC PERFORMANCE (golfers, tri-athletes, tennis players and cyclists), overall WELLNESS, and REDUCE PAIN associated with INJURIES, ACCIDENTS, and AGE.
