While traveling the state listening to families, caregivers, providers and stakeholders, the Dream Support founders listened intently to a frustrated community who has always dreamed of a better future for Florida’s most vulnerable, the developmentally and intellectually disabled. Yet, despite the dreams and often times heroic actions of many, the belief in those dream’s becoming a reality has begun to wane for so many. The meetings, events, town halls have become, not places where solutions are offered, but rather all too often a place to merely vent, a place with no real action. This is why an innovative, new solution to Waiver Support Coordination was designed. One where a brighter, safer, more inclusive community awaits. One where inefficiency, fraud, waste and mediocrity are eliminated. One where innovation, transformation and collaboration lead to better health, better care and lower costs. By integrating service with technology Dream Support has built a foundation for success and Real change.
