TREATING THE JOWLS WITH BOTOX:
I purposefully injected only 1 side of my face to demo the great effects of using Botox to reduce appearance of droopiness of jowls ( that little lumpy cushion to our jawline) as well as the downward pull of the corners of our mouth. There is a new approach to improving this area with Botox. Botox was injected in the DAO muscle as well as the attachment zone of the platysmal band/muscle. This helps reduce the tension these muscles pull in causing the heaviness of the jowls. If you also have strong lateral neck muscles, those can also be targeted to reduce tension to the face.
