Mother’s Day may be over, but taking care of yourself shouldn’t end there.
So much of motherhood is pouring into everyone else while quietly running on empty yourself. The mental load, the emotional load, the physical exhaustion… it adds up.
This is your reminder to check in with YOU too.
Your emotional wellness matters. Your rest matters. Your boundaries matter. Your body matters. Your peace matters.
Self care is more than spa days and flowers once a year. It’s allowing yourself to slow down, process, breathe, say no when needed, ask for help, move your body, rest your mind and stop carrying everything in silence.
Take inventory of how you’re feeling emotionally, mentally and physically. Then give yourself permission to honor that honestly.
Also remember,. the people around you should respect the boundaries that protect your well being, not punish you for having them.
Pour into yourself too, mama. You deserve care every single day, not just one day a year. 🌿
