Hi everyone. As your chiropractor, I wanted to pass along some helpful information to help us all get through these crazy times. I pray daily for the health of all of my family, patients, and friends. Please let me know if there is any way that I can assist you. We are all in this together.
You all know by now the importance of social distancing, proper hand washing, covering your sneezes and coughs, and to watch out for any flu-like symptoms, so I am not going to reiterate that. I want to list a few other helpful reminders.
1. Everyone’s emotions are running high due to the fear of contacting the coronavirus, and of course the economical impact may cause extra panic. Remember that stress is the number one killer of your immune system. If you are feeling stressed, start by turning off the news for a short time.
2. Practice the following deep breathing exercise:
*Breathe in for 4 seconds
*Hold your breath for 4 seconds
*Breathe out for 4 seconds to completely empty your lungs
*Hold for 4 more seconds.
*Repeat these steps for 10 minutes. This will help to restore proper breathing and help reduce stress.
3. Exercise. You can go for a walk, work-out at home, etc. Get creative. Exercise releases
endorphins and will help your state of being, improving your overall health.
4. Laugh - Enjoy life. Laughing always helps to reduce stress. Enjoy life in midst of the
chaos.
5. Bond with Family members. Human connection and spending time with the ones we
love is invaluable.
6. Eat a healthy, nutrient filled diet and drink plenty of water. We all know to do this on a
regular basis; however now it is more important than ever. Eating foods suchs as citrus,
broccoli, squash, spinach, bell peppers, garlic, ginger, turmeric, green tea, and lemon
juice are just a few that you can add.
7. Add some Premium quality supplements such as ImmunoVen, Hyssinol, and Premium
Turmeric. After much research, we selected Premier Research Labs Supplements
because in our opinion, they are the best! They are excellent quality and they guarantee
that they never buy any raw materials that are old, poorly grown, riddled with pesticides, or irradiated. They use 100% excipient-free, solvent-free vegetable capsules, meaning that they contain no binders or questionable tagalongs that are contained in many tablets. Examples of these undesirable common tableting agents are magnesium stearate, calcium stearate and silicon dioxide (i.e., ground sand). Non-nutritive (i.e., non-food) tableting agents should never be put in products that are meant to be consumed.
Yours in Health,
