She graduated from Plant City High School in 1991. After completing her undergraduate degree, she proceeded to Life University in Marietta, Georgia. She graduated Magna Cum Laude as a Doctor of Chiropractic in 2000. Initially after graduating, she practiced in Tennessee and North Carolina. She moved back to Florida in 2002, where she has practiced since.
