Curious about your thyroid? Here’s what your doctor probably isn’t telling you.
Most conventional labs only check TSH (a brain hormone—not a thyroid hormone 🙃).
If you’re lucky, maybe they’ll look at T4… but that’s still not the full picture.

👉 Your body needs T3 to function — and that requires proper conversion from T4.
👉 In times of stress, your body might convert T4 into reverse T3 — a protective but problematic detour.
👉 And then there’s the autoimmune factor — antibodies against your thyroid can fly totally under the radar unless they’re specifically tested for.

If no one’s running a full thyroid panel, it’s time to advocate for your health or work with someone who will.
A full panel should include: TSH, Free T4, Free T3, Reverse T3, TPO, and TG antibodies.

Probiotics might seem like a magical fix for your gut symptoms, but they’re not the all-in-one solution you might think they are.

❌ They only work while you’re taking them – once you stop, the effects fade. So, you’re just putting a band-aid on the issue.
❌ Not all probiotics are created equal. In fact, the wrong strains can make things worse – bloating, digestive discomfort, you name it!
❌ Probiotics won’t address the root cause of your gut problems – it’s about understanding what’s actually going on in your gut and treating it at the source.

So, what’s the real solution?

✨ A targeted approach that’s unique to YOU and your gut. I don’t guess – I test (using tools like the GI-MAP test).

This way, I can create a personalized plan that might include:

For years, I thought my acne was just something I had to deal with. I tried every cream, prescription, and DIY skincare hack, but nothing worked long-term.

What I didn’t realize? My skin was talking to me. Breakouts weren’t random—they were a sign my body needed more support.

I'm off and on with meal prepping, but when I make time for it in my schedule my week is much less stressful! I often find that this task can be over complicated and while you can get into the weeds with recipes, most meals doesn't need to be hard to make. I also find that if I prep/plan for at least 3 main meals a week I can usually stretch those with leftovers through Friday so I'm not actually making 5 meals.

To help make this time less stressful we plan and prep as much of the food as we can. Here are some tips for meal planning:⁠

✖️Make a list of all your initial meal ideas (choose meals that are easy for the whole family and dietary flexible)⁠
✖️Choose meals that have basic and easily accessible ingredients⁠
✖️Can you prepare and freeze any part of the meal to pull out later
✖️Can you use the same ingredients like protein or vegetables over multiple meals⁠
✖️Are the meals kid-friendly⁠
✖️Can I make enough for leftovers⁠

What can you do to prepare your body for a good night's sleep?

First, turn off those screens or use blue light blocker glasses an hour before bed. Dim the lights or light some candles to help reduce cortisol levels and increase melatonin for a natural wind-down.

Do you find yourself waking in the middle of the night?

It could be due to a drop in blood sugar, which prompts cortisol to spike and wake you up. A small bedtime snack with both fat and carbs can help stabilize your blood sugar overnight.

Finally, are you guilty of hitting snooze repeatedly in the morning? It's time to train your body to wake up with the sun (or on its own) without an alarm. All it takes is applying these foundational practices and getting out of bed to expose your eyes to light. In no time, your body will adapt to the natural rhythms it was designed for.
