BayCare Medical Group has opened new pediatric neurology practices at 2191 Ninth Avenue North, Suite 110 in St. Petersburg, and 4510 North Armenia Avenue, Suite 103 in Tampa, where they accept new patients, newborn and older. Primarily affiliated with St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital, the office is comprised of Ena Andrews, MD, Joseph Casadonte, MD, Margaret Nazario, PA-C, and Yolanta Sadlowski, PA-C. They treat a number of conditions, including Asperger’s Syndrome, attention deficit disorder, autism, cerebral palsy, Down’s syndrome and epilepsy.
Dr. Andrews is board certified in neurology with special competence in child neurology. She earned a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor, Michigan, completed an internship and residency in pediatrics at the University of California, in San Francisco, California, and performed a pediatric neurology fellowship at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Dr. Andrews’ clinical interests include pediatric sleep disorders. She treats children who have conditions originating in the brain, which can include headaches, seizures, concussions, dysautonomia and traumatic brain injury. Dr. Andrews is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, the American Medical Association and the Child Neurology Society.
Dr. Casadonte is board certified in neurology with a special competence in child neurology. He earned a medical degree from Far Eastern University in Manila, Philippines; completed a pediatric internship and residency at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital in New York, and completed a pediatric neurology fellowship at Schneider Children’s Hospital on Long Island, New York. Dr. Casadonte diagnoses and treats numerous neurological disorders, including seizures, cerebral palsy, Tourette Syndrome, developmental disorders and attention deficit disorders. He’s a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the Child Neurology Society.
