A wonderful day in Taos, New Mexico, yesterday!

We held our official ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of Taos Memorial Gardens, located alongside DeVargas Funeral Home of Taos.

More than 100 people joined us, including the Taos County Chamber of Commerce. Thank you to the Taos High Culinary Arts for the wonderful cuisine!

In attendance was the Mayor of Taos, Pasquel Maestas, City Council Woman Marietta Fambro, Town of Taos Manager, Lupe Martinez, School Board Member, Susan Trujillo, and Probate Judge Susanne Valerio. We had blessings from Deacon Claren Martinez, Ted Wiard, ground blessing by Danza Azteca de Taos, and Music by Johnny Archuleta and Audrey Davis.

We are excited to serve the community with enhanced, combined options, making DeVargas Funeral Home of Taos & Taos Memorial Gardens a dedicated place for healing and preserving lasting memories.
