Our Mission

Mountain Home Health Care, Inc. is committed to providing quality home health care through nursing, physical therapy, medical social services, home health aide services, and personal care attendant services to those living in the Taos area, regardless of their ethnicity, gender, or age. This provision of care depends upon the needs of the client, whether involving a short evaluation period of supportive and instructive care, an indefinite period for chronic maintenance care, or terminal care to those wishing to die at home. Since 1975, Mountain Home Health Care, a 501c(3) non-profit organization has been serving our Taos County community by providing home health care services to those in need. As an approved Medicaid and Medicare provider, we offer a coordinated team approach to therapeutic and rehabilitative services – including Personal Care Services, physician directed Home Health Care (Medicaid and Medicare) and Hospice.
