It’s an honor (and honestly a real joy) to lead the sit today for Lodro’s Basic Goodness community. Wednesday April 1 11-11:30am via zoom.

There’s something quietly powerful about practicing together. The simplicity of sitting, breathing, and being present can gently uncover some pretty complex thoughts and emotions. And somehow… when we’re in community, it all feels more workable. More human.

Training together matters. It shapes how we show up—in our relationships, in our work, in the small moments that ripple outward into the world.

If you’re looking for grounded, accessible teachings, I can’t recommend Lodro’s online community and courses enough—they’ve been a steady anchor in my own practice.

And if you’re craving in-person connection, come sit with us at an upcoming inJOY Meditation event. There’s nothing like breathing together in real time.

Wondering how to make upcoming Mother’s Day truly special? Join us May 10th for our 3rd Annual Mother’s Day Garden Tea Gathering at the teahouse in the Rabkin Japanese Gardens, overlooking koi ponds and spring blooms.

Step out of the noise and into a few unhurried hours of presence, beauty, and connection. Rooted in the heart of inJOY Meditation, this gathering is less about doing Mother’s Day “right” and more about creating space; to sip warm tea, feel the air, listen to music drifting across the garden, and simply be.

Enjoy a high tea experience with curated teas, light savory bites, and sweet treats - all meant to be savored slowly in good company. No agenda, no pressure, just a setting that lets your nervous system soften.
Whether you’re honoring a mother figure, sharing meaningful time with someone you love, or treating yourself, this afternoon is designed to feel simple, elegant, and nourishing.

Reset the body. Recenter the mind.

Yoga is one of our favorite ways to slow down, breathe, and come back to center. Through our Joy Ambassador program, we bring private yoga experiences directly to your group — whether that’s a team, community, or corporate setting.

If you’re looking to offer your people something that actually helps them reset and reconnect, let’s create something that feels good.

February doesn’t need to be loud.
It can be soft.
It can be slow.
It can be about coming back to yourself — together.

A lot of us move through our days braced.
Holding it together.
Managing our reactions.
Staying productive, even when we’re depleted.

Here’s a simple heart-centering practice you can try this week — grounded in nervous system care, parts awareness, and secure attachment.

2-Minute Heart Reset:

Place one or both hands on your heart.
Slow inhale through your nose.
Long exhale through your mouth.
As you breathe, notice what part of you is most activated or tired right now.
Then gently offer yourself one phrase of safety:

“You’re allowed to be supported.”

This is how regulation starts — not by fixing yourself,
but by creating a felt sense of safety inside your own body.

Upcoming Events:

- Rest is Resistance: A Community Gathering, Sunday Feb. 22nd
- Winter Glow: A Candlelit Sound Bath, Sunday March 1st
