Next Vision Instruments was formed through a new partnership by former partners/owners of Vision Systems Inc., a Florida-based company that dominated the market and was later sold in 2016, and Ophthalmic World, a Georgia-based leader in the same industry. ling Vision Systems Inc., Jeffrey Wheaton and Salvatore Troiano (former partners/owners) realized their absence left a void for a professional, quality preowned equipment company. When they were approached by Dwayne Podgurski (owner of Ophthalmic World) for a possible collaboration, Wheaton and Troiano decided to re-enter the industry.
