EMSCULPT Update: I'm at the 3week mark. Not wearing the bikini this week, but I can tell my clothes are fitting so much better! The scale doesn't tell the whole story ... I have lost 6 lbs. Which is exciting! But, I'm more excited about the loss of inches, a total of 8.25 inches! (See picture of my measurements), I am continuing to support this journey with healthy eating habits, trying to maintain a 1800-2000 calorie per day, limiting my alcohol consumption (I love a cocktail), drinking `lots of our SuperWater every day, and exercise - a daily walk with my dogs, 30 minutes of yoga or weights most days. And of course, spending 30 minutes in our Hydrogen Lounge whenever possible. Come by and check it out!

EMSCULPT journey. It's the end of week 1. Working on abs, glutes and pelvic floor. 2 treatments each muscle group. I realize I'm not wearing the same outfit, but, I really wanted to share that I have had a noticeable tightening of my torso, (Hubby told me I was looking hot ;) ) and I have noticed a decreae in Lowerback tightness/pain (interesting side benefit). The pelvic floor can take while to notice a difference, however, I am looking forward to seeing the benefits. Oh, and I've lost ~ 5 pounds. I do want to to be honest throughout the journey so ... I do eat a plant-based 1800-2000 calorie diet, drink 'lots of SuperWater, 30 minutes of exercise (yoga or weights) 5-7 days, & walk my 2 big pups 1-2 times per day (2-5 miles total). EMSCULPT is helping me increase my "gains" as the kids say! Can't wait to see what gains I make next week...

EMSCULPT has applications beyond just "looking better". The seated working head is used to tighten the pelvic floor, useful for men experiencing ED and women experiencing urinary incontinence.
Stress urinary incontinence (SUI) refers to the involuntary leakage of urine triggered by any physical exertion. It can affect men & women of any age but is most common after pregnancy, menopause or prostate surgery. The main cause of SUI is weakening of the pelvic floor which is comprised of a group of muscles & ligaments that work to keep the urethra closed so that urine remains in the bladder. SUI can be aggravated by obesity,, chronic coughing and constipation which put pressure on the bladder.

What to expect: a single treatment requires only 30 minutes (though plan on being here an hour for your first appointment). It is non-invasive and there is no pain. You will sit comfortably while the device performs pelvic floor exercises for you. For best results, we recommend that you repeat the treatment 2 to 3 times a week. At the end of 4-6 sessions, you should, start to notice improvement to your urinary incontinence. Thereafter, you have the option to continue the sessions on a weekly basis to maintain your positive results.
*On a side note, there is also clinical evidence to support that pelvic floor exercises may help to improve serial function in both men and women.
