The big scary “cord around the neck” scenario. It happens around 1/3 of the time and it is typically either slipped over the head as the head emerges or the “necklace” is unraveled before the baby is lifted to mom’s chest.

Not nearly as scary as some would think. Please have this conversation with your provider if you have questions!

This baby also has the hand next to the face which can make mom work a little harder to get baby earthside.

Before you and after you! 💗

I prayed you into existence. I manifested this perfect love we share.

Only the two of us truly know what we share. How we finish sentences before the other even finishes the thought process. How we get each others corny sense of humor. How we both longed for the love that perfectly makes sense to us. How we both deserved to be loved deeply and without reserve.

I knew I loved you before I met you. (Throw back to 1999… yes I know we met in 1993)

Thank you for letting me take you on a wild ride across Iceland to all of the places where I prayed for you!

The most magical experience to have the Northern lights appear the night you say your vows! 👰🤵I had just gotten out of my gown and was preparing for bed when I was notified that they were out. I’ve never thrown clothes on quicker 😂 Iceland Pics to be shared on here as soon as we recover from the most epic adventure we’ve ever had!

I love the moments that bring you back to a moment. Each one of these women and babies have given me memories I hope to have for a lifetime; as well as their friendship. Thank you for organizing this quick little get together so that I could love on some babies.

If you missed this one please know that when I have free time I’ll organize our annual get together that was bumped this year due to babies. I look forward to seeing each and every one of you soon.

Ps you shouldn’t have to be pregnant to see your midwife 😘

At 34 weeks pregnant we had to quickly formulate not only a new birth plan but also a cardiac surgery immediately after birth. To hold this healthy little boy is nothing short of a miracle!

This family so gracefully navigated these changes and were so thankful for every part of the team taking care of mom and the baby.

I was and continue to be so blessed to be apart of their story!

It’s been a summer packed with babies and as postpartum appointments start to come to an end. I’m reminded by babies like Brody to slow down and soak it all in!

As we celebrate Mara and Daisy I’m reminded what an amazing life I lead!

The families I become a part of and the friendships that are forged are forever a part of who I am.
