Bookkeeper – Busy Cardiology Practice (Tarzana, CA)
We are a well-established and growing cardiology practice in Tarzana seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. Our office is fast-paced, professional, and patient-focused — we’re looking for someone organized, proactive, and comfortable managing the financial operations that keep our practice running smoothly. There is also an opportunity to grow in other aspects of our practice.
Responsibilities
• Maintain and reconcile all accounting records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Process payroll and track employee hours/benefits.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Manage vendor invoices, payments, and expense tracking.
• Coordinate with management and external CPA on budgets, tax preparation, and financial audits.
• Ensure accurate documentation of practice revenue, reimbursements, and operating expenses.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and patient information in compliance with HIPAA and internal policies.
Qualifications
• Any bookkeeping experience is preferred especially in a medical or healthcare environment.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks, Excel, and general accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, team-oriented setting.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Schedule & Compensation

You will work closely with an experienced cardiologist with 4 fellowships in different disciplines in Cardiology and benefit from mentorship, structured training, and hands-on experience in an outpatient cardiology setting.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop treatment plans under supervision
• Order and interpret EKG, Ultrasound, and other diagnostic tests relevant to cardiovascular conditions

• Assist in procedures such as stress testing, echocardiograms, and other cardiology-related diagnostics
• Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the EMR system

The Cardiovascular Institute is seeking dedicated International Medical Graduates (IMG) for a pre-residency fellowship. This program offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable clinical experience, enhance medical knowledge, and prepare for residency in the internal medicine and cardiovascular fields.

Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in clinical rotations and case discussions.
• Assist with research projects and data collection.
• Engage in educational seminars and workshops.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Qualifications:
• MD or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
• Strong interest in internal medicine and/or cardiovascular medicine.
