Here’s another way to make elderberry syrup! It’s called a switchel! Switchels date back to the 1700s. It was like the colonials' version of gatorade and was helped to quench thirst. A basic switchel is water ginger, honey, and apple cider vinegar. Sounds so good, I’m gonna try it and report back!

I want to hear some ways you use your elderberry syrup other than just taking it by the spoonful! I’ve heard some interesting things I have yet to try. Some of the ways I’ve tried or heard people try:

• in teas
• in wine or a cocktail
• in smoothies
• make gummies
• make popsicles
• in oatmeal
• mixed in warm milk

If you’ve tried it a different way, I’d love to hear it! I personally take it straight up but I’ve made gummies and loved them and I also have enjoyed elderberry syrup in some wine before! Would love to make popsicles next!

For those with littles who can’t have honey yet, did you know that you can get a kit and add your own sweetener? I have a few followers who do this and add maple syrup instead of honey. Agave is an option as well!

I just wanted to come here and say thank you to everyone who has supported me on this journey. The last few months I have been out of work (maternity leave) and I’ve been relying on elderberry sales to pay my bills. I am paying my bills all thanks to your support! So thank you from the bottom of my heart. I pray daily that whoever needs this healing syrup will find me, not only to support my family, but to help others gain health. So thank you again.
