We are so incredibly proud to announce that our very own Tanya Wright is stepping into the role of Assistant Director here at the Southern New England Women's Home! 🌸

Tanya's journey is one that truly embodies everything we believe in — redemption, resilience, and the transforming power of God's grace. We have had the privilege of watching her go from resident, to staff, to Program Supervisor and now to Assistant Director, and every step of that journey has been a testament to her strength, her faith, and her unwavering commitment to the Lord, this ministry and the women we are called to serve.

Tanya is a true light in this home. She leads with grace, loves with her whole heart, and carries herself with a quiet strength that inspires everyone around her. She is living proof that God restores, redeems, and raises up — and we are so grateful that He placed her right here with us.

Tanya, we are beyond excited for this next chapter of your journey. You are not just an incredible leader — you are a gift to this ministry, to our residents, and to all who are blessed enough to know you. We love you and we cannot wait to see all that God continues to do in and through you! 💛

💛 Celebrating Love in Action💛

There are people who show up once, and there are people who never really leave. Lori is the second kind — and we are so grateful.

For 30 years Lori has been walking through our doors with scissors in hand and love in her heart. She has sat with our residents — really sat with them — listening, laughing, encouraging, and reminding each one that they are seen, valued, and worth caring for.

A haircut might seem like a small thing. But in the hands of someone like Lori, it becomes something much bigger. It's a moment of dignity. A conversation that matters. A reminder that there are people in this world who will show up for you, no strings attached, for decades if that's what it takes.

Lori, you have woven yourself into the story of so many lives here. The residents you've loved, the seeds you've quietly planted, the countless times you chose to come back — none of that is lost. All of it matters more than words can say.

Thank you for being a living picture of faithful, selfless love. We are beyond blessed to call you one of our own. 🙏✂️❤️

Board Butter production Day 2026 is here!

Today, the walls of our brand-new Vocational Training Building were filled with purpose, hard work, and the sweet smell of our very own Board Butter!

"Every jar made by these hands is a testament to how far these women have come — and a promise of how far they will go."

This is so much more than a product. Every batch our residents help create generates income that allows us to keep doing what God called us to do — welcoming women who need healing, offering restoration, and walking beside them every step of the way. We are deeply grateful that this work that helps sustain our mission.

And the reach of what these women are making? It stretches across New England, New Jersey, and New York — supplying centers far and wide with a product crafted with care, intention, and love
But perhaps the most beautiful thing we witnessed today was something you can't bottle — the look on our residents' faces as they learned new skills, worked side by side, and realized what they are truly capable of.

Vocational training gives our women more than a task to complete. It gives them confidence. It gives them a reason to stand a little taller, to believe in their own hands, and to see themselves the way God has always seen them — as capable, worthy, and full of potential.

We are so incredibly blessed. Blessed by this new space. Blessed by these women who show up every day and do the work. Blessed by every center and partner who supports this mission by choosing our products. And blessed by a God who turns broken things into beautiful ones.

🌸✝️ Easter Sunday at the Women’s Home ✝️🌸

Our home was filled with everything that makes this life beautiful: family, food, faith, and a whole lot of laughter. Our girls worked hard in that kitchen, and let me tell you — if there’s one thing Adult & Teen Challenge knows how to do, it’s EAT! 🍽️🙌🏽 The spread they put together was nothing short of a blessing, and watching them pour themselves into every dish? That right there is love in action.

Family visits filled the afternoon with so much joy. Hugs, conversation, tears of gratitude — the kind of moments that remind us all why this journey is worth every hard step. These women are being restored, and today their families got to see it up close. To God be ALL the glory for that. 🤍

And for those who had a quieter day — a little rest, a little breathing room — that was a gift too. Not every blessing looks the same, and today everyone got exactly what they needed.

And we couldn’t let Easter Sunday go out without a little fun — we closed the evening with a Pictionary game night and honestly… the talent (and the chaos 😂) in this room is unmatched.

From the empty tomb this morning to a table full of good food and even better company tonight — this day has been a gift from start to finish. We don’t take a single moment for granted.

He is risen, and these women are living proof that He’s still in the business of making things new. 🌿✨

He is risen indeed. 🕊️

🌸✝️ He is Risen — and Because He Lives, They Can Face Tomorrow ✝️🌸

This Easter Sunday, our women had the privilege of worshipping at Christ Community North, where Pastor Cross delivered a powerful message on the theme of Promise — and it was exactly what our hearts needed to hear.

From Genesis to Revelation, we were reminded that God has never broken a single promise. From the moment sin entered the world, He already had a plan. He took a man named Abraham — with nothing, no roadmap, no legacy, no reason to believe anything extraordinary was coming — and out of that ordinary life, God built an entire lineage that would change the course of human history. David — a man who failed but was still called a man after God’s own heart. Isaiah speaking of a Wonderful Counselor and Prince of Peace centuries before Jesus ever drew a breath. Every thread, every story, every stumble — all of it was pointing to One Person. The Promise became flesh.

And that Promise walked to a cross — not by surprise, but by design. He crushed the serpent’s head. The stone rolled away. He is not here — He is risen.

For women who have lived in hopelessness, that is everything.

The same power that raised Jesus from the dead now lives in them. Old things have passed away. New has come. Saved by grace — not by anything they could earn or deserve — but freely given, because that’s who God is.

Pastor Cross closed with a question that still echoes: Do you want a story of hope — or hopelessness?

These women are choosing hope. Every single day. 🙏

We were also so blessed to be joined by the incredible Melissa Oliveira, one of Adult & Teen Challenge’s executive leaders — a beautiful reminder that this ministry runs on people who believe in the transforming power of Jesus Christ.
Because He lives, our women can face tomorrow. Because He lives, all fear is gone. Because He lives, the story isn’t over — and neither is theirs. 💛
Happy Easter from our family to yours. He is risen indeed. 🌿

✨ Volunteer Spotlight ✨

We are overflowing with gratitude for one of our amazing volunteers — Julie Halvorsen — and we just have to take a moment to celebrate her!

Over the past several months, Julie has been pouring her heart into our residents in the most beautiful way. She brought the world of art to life right here in our home, teaching on stunning works from the Boston Museum of Fine Arts with such passion and grace. But she didn't stop there — Julie took our residents on a field trip to the Museum so they could see with their own eyes the very pieces she had been teaching on. Watching art come alive in person. That's a memory our ladies will carry with them.

What makes Julie so special isn't just her knowledge or her time — it's the genuine love she has for this ministry and for each woman who walks through our doors. She sees them. She invests in them. She reminds them that beauty, creativity, and wonder are part of their story too.

Julie, you have been such a blessing to this home, and we are so grateful God placed you in our lives. Thank you for showing our residents they are worth pouring into. 💛

We were extremely blessed yesterday to have Pastor Tony Palow at our SNE women’s home while being able to Google Meet with the NNE and NY homes as well!

Pastor Tony’s teaching on the Art of Communication was exceptionally insightful, practical, and deeply engaging. He connected psychology, leadership principles, and biblical wisdom to help people understand not just what we communicate, but why we often misunderstand one another. Through clear illustrations, powerful quotes, and relatable activities, the session helped uncover how personal experiences, emotions, and past wounds shape the way we send and receive messages.

Our staff and residents walked away with a greater sense of self-awareness, practical tools for improving communication in their lives with a renewed commitment to take responsibility for clarity and understanding. It was both thought provoking, intellectual transformative.

Check out Pastor Tony website tonypalow.com and take a look at the menu of services he offers. He’s so busy…. and we are more than grateful to have him twice a month for 2026.

Grab him now.
We are excited he’s coming back in less then one week to talk about "Working through our filters Spiritually & Psychologically"

☘ Happy St. Patrick's Day from our Women's Home family! ☘

Our hearts are full. We had the sweetest time celebrating yesterday — and what made it extra special was being able to share it with our sisters from the New York Northeast Women's Home. There is something powerful about women walking the same road, cheering each other on, and doing life and recovery together.

A huge, heartfelt thank you to our incredible craft volunteers, Donna and Fran, who showed up with creativity, love, and so much joy. You pour into our women in ways that mean more than you know. We are so grateful for you! 🙏and to our dedicated staff Tanya & Sue for cooking such a delicious meal for everyone.

Fellowship like this is one of God's greatest gifts — and today was a beautiful reminder that we are never alone on this journey. 💚

This week, the Women Supporting Women group came and ministered to our residents with an artistic devotional on Samuel 1:1-18 — and we are so incredibly grateful.

The message was Personal and Powerful.
Samuel 1:1-18 In this story of Hannah and her longing to have a child. What stuck out in this story was that Hannah surrendered Samuel before she ever held him in her arms...Before the answer came... Before the promise was fulfilled.

She laid him down in faith — completely, not partially.
The question was asked: What is your Samuel? That thing you've been carrying to God, the desire you've prayed over, the dream you haven't let yourself fully release.

Together, walked through three ways to surrender it:
✋ Not striving — releasing the grip of trying to make it happen on your own
🕊️ Letting go — trusting God with the outcome, even the timeline
🌿 Contentment — finding peace in Him while you wait
And then they prayed, in faith, surrendered their "Samuel" to God.

This devotional had a powerful impact on our residents, many of whom have lost so much due to addiction and brokenness and are in the process of rebuilding their lives with the Lords divine grace and strength— this passage reminding them-you are seen, you are valued, and God is working in you and through you. You are not alone in the waiting.

💬 To the Women Supporting Women group — thank you for your servant hearts. What you do matters more than you know. Your willingness to show up, to open the Word and pray alongside our residents who are all at different places in the journey.. speaks volumes about the kind of servant hearts they carry. Thank you for seeing these women and for pouring into them with such love and grace. 🤍

Our Southern New England Director, Shondi Fabiano, along with her husband Peter Fabiano, Director of the Adult & Teen Challenge Brockton Massachusetts Men's campus, had the privilege of attending at the THRIVE Conference at Cape Cod Church. Below are a few words about their experience.

"We truly blessed by the hospitality and incredible organization in hosting such a meaningful event. We are truly grateful for the opportunity to present our Christ-Centered Options for Recovery panel — not just once, but across two breakout sessions.

The Kids Town Theater was a wonderful setting, and having a dedicated room host made all the difference in keeping things running smoothly. Every detail — from the A/V support to the complimentary lunch — reflected the care and intentionality that Cape Cod Church clearly puts into everything it does. We felt genuinely welcomed and well-supported from start to finish.

We hope the discussions resonated with participants and planted seeds that will continue to grow. It is always a blessing to be in a room full of people who share a heart for recovery and restoration.

We want to extend our sincere thanks to your team, volunteers, and everyone at Cape Cod Church who made the day possible."
