Carefirst Family Practice is conveniently located in the tight-knit community of Tavares, Florida. Led by William Weaver DO, and a team of experienced family medicine practitioners, Carefirst Family Practice strives to provide exceptional care during every stage of life, from birth through late adulthood. For more than 25 years, Carefirst Family Practice has treated their patients like members of their family. They take pride in providing an inviting office, a friendly staff, and compassionate, certified practitioners. This family-based practice provides an array of services for patients of all ages, from all backgrounds. As a clinic that focuses on prevention, they offer several types of physical exams, including DOT and FAA physicals, school and sports physicals, U.S. Coast Guard, EMT, and firefighter physicals, as well as routine physicals for men and women. In addition, Carefirst Family Practice diagnoses, manages, and treats both acute and chronic conditions, like hypertension, diabetes, strep throat, bronchitis, and immunizations. They even offer aesthetic treatments, most notably a noninvasive fat reduction treatment by SculpSure®. The experienced practitioners at Carefirst Family Practice hold privileges at both Florida Hospital Waterman and Leesburg Regional Medical Center.
