There is a rise of employee assistance programs during COVID-19
Today, I read an article published by Grace Ferguson, about the rise in Employee Assistance Programs ("EAPs"), since COVID has disrupted our lives and changed the way we work.
Grace stated, "Though employers have been ramping up their EAP initiatives for some time now, it’s the COVID-19 pandemic that’s catapulting this workplace benefit to greater heights."
Grace goes on to say, "In February of 2020, Ginger partnered with Dimensional Research to survey 1,211 U.S. workers. Their survey showed that prior to the COVID-19 pandemic employees were already experiencing high levels of stress. Per the report, COVID-19 is causing employees more stress than both the Great Recession and 9/11."
This is all true. I appreciate the specifics shared by Grace Ferguson today. And yet, as an EAP, this information is not new.
People working in the field of Behavioral Health today are seeking new ways to connect with clients - new ways to help them.
My business partner and myself are feverishly working to help create a two-year DIGITAL AFTERCARE PROGRAM for people in recovery. We are close. We plan to launch it mid-October. If you want to hear more, please contact us by taking a closer look:
