DAC is a group of caring individuals who are invested in educating the community on human trafficking issues such as warning signs, prevention, interventions, and other vital issues that are associated with human trafficking (Labor and Sex Trafficking). Reaching out to individuals, companies, organizations, and coalitions to learn about the human trafficking activities taking place today, right here in our Downriver Detroit communities. As a coalition DAC is a sub-committee of the Taylor Substance Abuse Prevention Task Force, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization supported by Corewell Health to unify and engage the 12 sectors in our hometown and neighboring municipalities to form a Strategic Prevention Framework (SPF) to combat and intervene on behalf of those affected by the devastating effects of drug- and human trafficking. What makes DAC most effective is our dedicated young Peer Educators, who reach out to high school and middle school friends with information and support to help them stay or get clean, sober, and safe.

Sadly, things have regressed since 2014. We are losing our future generations to a culture of pettiness, shallow values, and an attitude that people are expendable. That is, we use people to love money, and it shows. We have science and money, but we just do not have the will to do better. To this there are consequences.
