...done with love!

As the new year gets underway, now is the perfect time for a resolution check-in. Take a moment with your partner to reflect on the past year, revisit your goals, and adjust or set new resolutions for your relationship.

By revisiting your resolutions regularly and consistently making small, meaningful gestures, you’ll stay on track and continue growing together.

All couples can experience flooding particularly when having a fight, and struggling couples might be experiencing this on a daily basis when they argue. This state of heightened physiological arousal creates a feeling of unmanageable stress and overwhelm. We know that no productive conversation can happen when either partner is flooded.

In this webinar, Dr. Don Cole, Clinical Director at The Gottman Institute, will cover these important topics. Learn more and register here: https://bit.ly/3xQu5GH

The Start of GCC

It started at the courthouse. We were there because my wife was asked to testify in a custody hearing. My eyes were opened that day, I saw first-hand the heartache caused by the sin and the breakdown of families. I imagined a battle field, with bullets flying, bombs bursting, and soldiers bloodied, wounded and dying. At the same time, there was a second group of soldiers off to the side, in a safe place. They were doing dress inspection. The question the Lord impressed on my heart was “Where are you going to be - in the battle or on dress inspection?” After much prayer and getting counsel from others, I began the adventure that would result in an M.A. in Professional Counseling from Liberty University and the establishment of Grace Christian Counseling.
