Our first of three educational series on Dementia and Alzheimer's is tomorrow at 6pm at CVCC Alexander Center. If you are a family member, caregiver, or friend of someone with dementia, we encourage you to come!

🦋 Alexander Hospice is proud to partner with the Alzheimer’s Association to offer a free 3-part community education series designed to help individuals, families, and caregivers better understand Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.

🕕 Time: 6:00 PM
📍 Location: CVCC Alexander Center

📝 Topics will include:
• 10 Warning Signs of Dementia
• Alzheimer’s Disease Facts & Figures
• Having Difficult Dementia Conversations

💜 Whether you are a caregiver, have a loved one with memory loss, or simply want to learn more, everyone in our community is welcome.

SUPPORT YOUR HOMETOWN HOSPICE! Alexander Hospice is currently running our annual calendar fundraiser for the month of March. Pick a day of the month and donate that amount in honor or memory of someone. Other options are available such as all Sundays in March, all Mondays in March and so on. If you would like to donate for an entire calendar, it's $496. Any of these amounts can be donated in honor of your favorite staff member! All proceeds go to direct patient care! Donations in honor and memory will be announced on Facebook as they come in and in our quarterly newsletter.

🎄 Hospice Door Tour Update & Thank You! 🎄

We wanted to share a fun update from our Hospice Door Tour and recognize everyone who helped make it such a success!

✨ Winner:
Jamison Presnell, Executive Director, won the Door Tour Contest with her adorable gingerbread house door. Jamison would like to give a heartfelt thank you to her daughters, Averie and Ruby Grace Presnell, along with their friends Zoe Johnson and Peyton Oxentine, for helping pull it all together.

🥈 Runner-Up:
The Charlie Brown Christmas door by Deidra Skinner, Marketing/Public Relations, which captured so much nostalgic holiday charm.

🌟 Honorable Mention:
The National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation door by Tina Mitchell, Volunteer Services and Transitions Coordinator, for bringing classic holiday humor to life.

🎁 Door Prize Winner:
Congratulations to Sheriff Chad Pennell, who won the door prize!

We had over 60 people come through to judge the doors, and every single door was amazing. The creativity, teamwork, and effort that went into each one truly showed. Thank you to our staff and community for making this event such a joyful and memorable part of the season—we loved every bit of it! ❤️🎅✨
