Well said, aggression is a clue as to the unconscious fears that are driving the behavior. How can we get more curious with ourselves and others?

Aggression is not something that appears out of nowhere. It is a nervous system that has run out of options.

A body that has moved through discomfort, tension, signals, thresholds… and has not been heard, supported, or given a way to resolve what it is experiencing.

So it escalates.

Not because it wants to dominate, control, or be “bad”… but because it is trying to survive what feels unsafe. That does not mean aggression is acceptable.

It does not mean it should be ignored. And it does not mean others should tolerate being put at risk.

But if we only ever respond to the behaviour we see at the surface, without understanding what is driving it underneath, we will keep meeting fear with more pressure.

And that is where cycles repeat.

When you understand aggression as a last resort rather than a first choice, your response changes.

You become more aware of the earlier signals.
You become more responsible for the environment you are part of.
You stop waiting for things to explode before you listen.

And that is where real change happens.
