What a wonderful surprise for a resident when he received a FaceTime from Jimmy Fortune with the Statler Brothers. Jimmy and Barry video chatted for approximately 10 minutes. Barry received another surprise when an autographed shirt was delivered to him. Barry has been a faithful fan of the Statler Brothers for many years. When Jimmy asked Barry what his favorite song was Barry responded All Of Them. Barry‘s smile says it all. Thank you Jimmy for sharing time with one of your biggest fans.

Thank you to Allen Dancy Vice Commandor of the American Legion in Taylorsville NC who visited our Veterans at Valley Nursing Center. It was an event our Veterans appreciated.

Valley had lots of treats on Halloween! Our residents and staff dressed up together and had so much fun tricking everyone!

VNC was blessed to listen to Karen Walker’s beautiful gospel singing. The residents enjoyed and even some staff joined in the singing. Happy joyous faces all around!

VNC celebrated Grandparents day with a car show, face painting, and farm animals! Thank you to the community for supporting this event and to those who came to celebrate our residents!

We will be celebrating Grandparents Day on Friday, September 22nd from 2:00 pm - 4 pm in the Courtyard. Activities will include a car show, hot dogs and drinks, music, games, family pictures, farm animals, and face painting. If you have a grandparent at Valley, take the time to come share this special time with them.

Just want to give a shout out to ALL members of our staff. Valley Nursing Center received a Deficiency Free 2023 Annual Survey. We have an awesome team and I am proud of each person working here. As your Administrator I say “Thank You for all you do to care for our residents and our facility”.
