🔍 Position: Optometric Technician
📍 Location: Lebanon, VA
📝 Job Responsibilities:
• Greet patients and assist with check-in and pretesting
• Perform preliminary eye exams and diagnostic testing (autorefractor, visual fields, OCT, etc.)
• Assist the optometrist during eye exams
• Document patient history and update medical records accurately
• Instruct patients on contact lens insertion and removal
• Maintain clean and organized exam and testing rooms
• Verify insurance eligibility and assist with patient scheduling
• Provide excellent customer service and patient care
💡 What We’re Looking For:
• Previous experience in an optometry or medical office preferred (but not required—we’ll train the right person!)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• A team player with a great attitude
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable using computers and electronic health records
⏰ Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
