Happy Memorial Day! Today we celebrated Grandpa Pete- 82nd Airborne WWII veteran, Father, Grandfather, mentor and epitome of kindness. He passed away during my surgical intern year, 2011- his legacy lives on! Vivi left him a note😘

Happy National Nurses Week to all the nurses I have the privilege and joy of working with! From the nurses Institute to the nurses at Sioux Falls Specialty Hospital as well as Avera McKennan and Sanford.
